Ferguson's Morningside Apple Orchard

The other weekend Jay had off and we took advantage of it before he started another crummy rotation. We have always wanted to go to the Apple Orchard as a family but had never made it until this year. It was a little muddy from all the rain we had gotten, but we still had a lot of fun. I am going to warn you, there are a lot of photos.

Look at how tall my boyz are getting!!

These two wanted to take all the pumpkins home. Unfortunately we only did apples this trip.

Nice tractor Reed!
Enough said
I love fall weather, and how beautiful fall is.

Brett trying to get in with his big brothers again.

A little more his size.

Off to get apples.
The boys loved it that we could pick as many as we wanted. They tasted all of them and then picked more if they liked them. I think we all had belly aches after eating so many.
Brett LOVES apples.
YUMMY!!!!
They found some they liked.
Why pick them off the tree when you can just get them off the ground?
I want an apple tree in my back yard someday!
As you will be able to see Brett loved all the animals. He could not get enough of them and had no fear. He would walk right up to them and pet them and even attempted to try and feed them. Unfortunately for the animals, Brett called them all dogs.

These boys just warm my heart.

LOVE IT!

Back at the tractors for one last time.

We had a blast and I can't wait to go back and get more apples
and some pumpkins this time too.

Tackle Football 09

This was Reed's first year of tackle football and I was a little nervous. Reed is a rough kid at times, but is not very tough. I thought for sure he would be in tears almost every game. Well, we made it through a whole season and there were no tears!! Reed did great. His main position was quarterback and he loved it. His last game of the season, he scored two touch downs and it was also the only game they won. He had a great team and can't wait till next year.

Reed's team, but we were out of town for picture day.

Reed is #11

What a great year buddy! We are so proud of you and how much you grew over the season!
