Jay and I bought his Passat when we first started dating. We put many miles on this when we first got it, but the last 4 years we had only put about 200 miles on it. Only because Jay was able to walk to work when we lived in La Crosse. Really the only time it got started was when it really snowed so they could plow out the driveway and when it was really cold to make sure it started. But most of the time we were having to jump it to start it. We had put enough money into it already and it was slowly starting to fall apart. Once we moved to Marshfield Jay was again able to walk to work so once again it was not getting used. We were now not even able to jump it, so we made the decision to donate it to Rawhide. Hopefully it will find a new home and actually be able to drive every once in awhile. Of course now that we are down to one car we are a little farther away from Jay's work, but still walkable. It has been a little hard with all the kids activities with only one car, but we are hoping to make it until this summer.
Wish us luck:)
