Reed loved body surfing!  

When we first got to the beach, the waves were really rough and strong so the younger boys had to stay close by.

Drew loved the surfing as well.

FUNLAND!!!!!

The first night we went to Funland, we didn't go until 10pm.  Reed was with a friend for a sleep over, so we just took the younger two.  They had a blast!  Of course at that time of night their was no one else their age there so they were able to basically have the whole place to their selves.  What fun!

Brett had no fear of any of the rides.  He went on just about everything that the older boys did. The only thing he couldn't do was the bumper cars.

We celebrated; my birthday, Brett's birthday, our anniversary and Bob's birthday.

Assateague Island National Seashore 

Assateague Island is beautiful!!  If you love going to the ocean, you will LOVE going here. It is a National Seashore that goes on for miles.  There are also wild ponies everywhere. I could have spent our whole vacation just sitting on the beach here. There were no buildings to block your view and it wasn't over populated with people.  Just peaceful!

Washington, DC

We started our trip in Washington, DC at Uncles Bob and Alfred's brownstone.  Reed loved DC and could have spent a couple more days there, but the younger didn't have as much interest.

It was this whole crew's first time at a major league game.  We had a blast!


We can't thank Bob and Alfred enough for all they did for us while we were there.  The boys still talk about how much fun they had and ask when can we go back.  We are hoping soon!
